On October 19, 2018, a resolution was adopted during Doctoral and Graduate Students’ Council Plenary meeting. “Resolution Opposing the Suppression of Community Input in Library Renovations and Egregious Resource Gaps in Library and Information Technology Services” conveyed concerns over the lack of student input taken into consideration in the planning process for the recent library renovations. With the adoption of the resolution, members of the DSC urge administrators of the Graduate Center to actively seek out better mechanism for incorporating broader community input in subsequent planning stages.
