Nominations for the Doctoral Students’ Council (DSC) 2013-2014 are now open. Please visit the eBallot nomination site and follow the login instructions.

Nominations will be open until February 28th, 11:59 p.m. During this time, you will be able to nominate student representatives for the following positions: DSC Program Representative, DSC At-Large Representative, Student Academic Appeals Officer, Faculty-Student Disciplinary Committee Panel, Student Elections Review Committee (SERC), Advocate Advisory Board, and the OpenCUNY Board.  Some information on these positions is given on nomination’s page after you login to the Votenet site. A more detailed description can be found on the elections page.

Please take note of the eligibility guidelines for student representatives, according to CUNY bylaws. The guidelines pertinent to Graduate Center students are as follows:

* Matriculated at The Graduate Center;
* Grade point average of 3.0; and
* Meet the following academic credit and progress standards:
* Level I and Master’s students must carry a minimum of 3 credit hours and “must have completed and earned passing grades in at least 50 % of the credits for which they registered the prior semester, but in no event less than 3 credits.”
* Level II and Level III (full-time doctoral) students must be making satisfactory progress.
